Origin
SYNAPSE was born at the Women in Gen AI 2026 hackathon organised by EY and Microsoft, in response to a problem statement from the French Ministry of the Armed Forces.
The starting point is a familiar dilemma for anyone who works across organisations: share everything, and you expose it; share nothing, and you fly blind.
What we do
Two agents, one contract. Each organisation is represented by its own agent. The agents negotiate what may move, at what level of sensitivity, and apply the rules that humans wrote. Data is sorted locally, every exchange is traced, and no organisation has to open its systems to the other.
SYNAPSE is built for defence: joint and coalition operations, public security, critical infrastructure and industry.
